Hello and a very warm welcome to the Milton Keynes Wine School. We are an independent wine education company which hosts wine tastings and wine courses in and around Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire.

We offer a range of wine events including fun wine tastings, food and wine workshops and introductory courses. All events focus on enjoying wine in a relaxed and informal setting. No previous wine experience necessary.

Our Courses

We run a variety of courses - open to everyone and anyone who enjoys wine and wants to learn a bit more about it - no previous wine tasting experience is necessary.

• Introduction to Wine Tasting - An evening course, tasting 6 wines with a brief introduction to the basics of wine. These courses are run in Milton Keynes, and we'll cover - how it's made, how to taste it and how to find what you like, all with a few food matches.
• Premium Gin Tastings - An evening course. Discover what makes craft gins unique, how they are made  and how they taste
• Single Evening Tastings - An evening course, focused on a single subject such as region (e.g. Burgundy), country (e.g. New Zealand) or topic (e.g. Old World vs. New World). 
• Saturday Introduction to Wine Tasting Course - Includes a 2-course lunch, Champagne and 12 wines from around the world.
• 8-Week World Tour - Our flagship course. Explore the world of wine through 60 wines, covering all aspects of wine from how it is made to reading a label, and everything in between.

OUR VENUES - we use a venue right in the heart of Milton Keynes for our evening courses :

The Holiday Inn Milton Keynes Central, 500 Saxon Gate, Milton Keynes, MK9 2HQ  

Milton Keynes central station is only 1km from the hotel and is just 5 minutes by taxi or a 12-minute walk.

There is ample free parking at the hotel. Classes are held in one of the meeting rooms at the hotel  

We also use a stunning historic venue just east of Milton Keynes and easily accessible by road and rail for our Saturday courses

Chicheley Hall, Chicheley Road, Milton Keynes MK16 9JJ  

A stunning Grade I listed mansion, Chicheley Hall is regarded as one of the finest examples of early 18th Century architecture. Its current hall dates back to the 1700’s and is truly impressive. (No wonder that Chicheley Hall has been used as a location for such film and television projects as Pride and Prejudice, The meaning of Life, and Black Beauty. It is located close to J14 of the M1.
