Bordeaux is one of the most famous - yet complicated - wine regions in the world.
There are around 6,000 chateaux in the region. Each estate has an average of just under 20 hectares of vines in their vineyard. Those 6,000 wineries and vineyards make more than 9,000 different wines every vintage.
So what makes them different? Why are some so cheap yet others cost a small fortune? What makes a good vintage? What's the difference between 'Right Bank' and 'Left Bank'?
During this evening we will find the answer to these questions while exploring the complexity of white, red and sweet wines from this world renowned and fascinating region.
