On Line Gin 03.07.20
Premium Gins (ONLINE TASTING)
Be guided through mixology and learn how to serve THE perfect Gin & Tonic mix!
A new era is dawning for online education! Universities and businesses are going virtual and so is Milton Keynes Wine School (What else are you going to do while stuck indoors?) At these online classes we will be creating a shared tasting experience and educating in our typical fun way with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. All sessions will be recorded and if you can't attend at the last minute just let us know so you can go through the event at your convenience later.
Gin is not just gin as this tasting tutorial will reveal. You will become experts in botanicals and garnishes, and know the difference between all 5 main flavours in London Dry Gins. We'll give you some nifty tasting tricks and teach you how to make some top-class G&Ts at home.
We'll also discuss Indian Tonic Waters as they make half of your G&T and are therefore as important as your gin!.
learn how the right garnish can take your G + T to the next level
All YOU have to do is purchase a ticket by clicking the "BOOK" button, as you would normally. A ticket entitles ALL members of your household to join in. There is no need to buy one ticket per person. Once your ticket purchased, you will receive a confirmation email with your ZOOM web link and password a couple of days before the event itself.
I would recommend buying in advance: Opihr Gin (£23 a bottle in both Asda & Waitrose and an Old Tom gin -Haymans Old Tom, Bullards Old Tom, Dodds Old Tom (about £30 from Amazon, Majestic, Waitrose). If you don't want to buy two whole bottles go to www.justminiatures.com where you can get 5cl miniature bottles. Buy a bottle of Fever Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water and sliced fresh ginger and grapefruit. Don't forget your ice, and please do not mix and match in advance as we shall do that altogether on the night!
